Setting the Remote Device Transmission
Timeout
A remote copy job is cancelled if there is no response from the remote copy printer within a
given time. Select a timeout setting from 5 to 30 seconds in 1-second increments.
NOTE
Jobs that reach the timeout limit (without arriving at the remote copy printer) are deleted.
The default timeout setting is ‘30 seconds.’
1 Call up the desired screen as follows:
[Copy Settings]
[
]
[Remote Device Transmission Timeout]
2 Use [–] and [+] to set the Remote Device Transmission Timeout, and press [OK].
You can also enter values using - (numeric keys).
The specified mode is set.
3 Press [Done] repeatedly until the Basic Features screen appears.
