Chapter 4 Configuring the PA-2FE
Configuring the Interfaces
Step 6 Re-enable interfaces by doing the following:
a. Repeat Step 3 to re-enable an interface. Substitute the no shutdown command for the shutdown
command.
b. Repeat Step 4 to write the new configuration to NVRAM. Use the
copy running-config startup-config command.
c. Repeat Step 5 to verify that the interfaces are in the correct state. Use the show interfaces command
followed by the interface type and interface address of the interface.

Cisco 7301 router show interfaces fastethernet,
