The
Local User Database
page contains the following fields:
User Name
— List of users.
Access Level
— User access level. The lowest user access level is
1
and
15
is the highest user access
level. Users with access level 15 are Privileged Users, and only they can access and use the
OpenManage Switch Administrator.
Password (0-159 Characters)
— User-defined password.
Confirm Password
— Confirms the user-defined password.
Enable Password Aging (1-365)
— Indicates the amount of time in days that elapses before a
password is aged out, when selected.
Expiry Date
— Indicates the expiration date of the user-defined password.
Lockout Status
— Specifies the number of failed authentication attempts since the user last
logged in successfully, when the
Enable Login Attempts
checkbox is selected in the
Password
Management
page. Specifies
LOCKOUT
, when the user account is locked.
Reactivate Suspended User
— Reactivate the specified user’s access rights, when selected. Access
rights can be suspended after unsuccessfully attempting to login.
Remove
— Removes users from the
User Name
list, when selected.
Assigning Access Rights to a User:
