NOTE: Do not confuse the user name and password used to access the web-based
manager with the ADSL account user name and password needed for PPP connections
to access the ADSL or network service provider’s network.
Logging in will bring up the PPPoE Configuration window (see example screen
on next page) of the web-based management module. Click the DSL-504 folder
located below the D-Link logo in the upper left corner. The folder will open
revealing the management menu option buttons. These menus are used to
configure the Router for connection to the WAN and other router functions. This
chapter discusses the steps to first establish the WAN connection. The remaining
features not directly concerned with establishing the initial connection are
explained in Chapter 5, Web-based Management.
Web Manager Menu
Click on the D-Link
DSL-504 folder to open it.
Open any of the Web
Manager options by clicking
on the corresponding
button.
