You can make Configuration Menu settings and control the projector by
using the Web browser of a computer that is connected to the projector via
a network. By using this function you can perform setup and control
operations remotely. In addition, since you can use the computer's
keyboard, entering characters required for the setup is easier.
Use Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later as the Web browser. If you are
using Mac OS, you can also use Safari.

If you set Standby Mode to Communication On from the Extended
menu in the projector's Configuration Menu, you can use the Web
browser to make settings and perform control even if the projector is
in a standby state (when the power is off).
Some items cannot be set with a Web browser (but can be from the
Configuration Menu) and some items can only be set with a Web browser.
Items in the Configuration Menu that cannot be set with a Web browser
All items in the projector's Configuration Menu can be set except for the
following.
Settings Menu - Pointer Shape
Settings Menu - Pattern
Settings Menu - User Button
Extended Menu - Saving User's Logo
Extended Menu - Language
Extended Menu - Operation - High Altitude Mode
Reset Menu - Reset All, and Reset Lamp Hours
Password Protect Menu
The items available in each menu are the same as the Configuration Menu
of the projector.

Items that can only be set with a Web browser
The following items can only be set with a Web browser. They cannot be
set from the Configuration Menu.
Network settings- Others - SNMP - Community Name
Network settings- Basic - Monitor Password
Displaying Web Control
Use the following procedure to display Web Control.

If your Web browser is set to connect via a proxy server, Web Control
cannot be displayed. To display Web Control, you need to make
settings so that a proxy server is not used for a connection.
Entering the IP address of the projector
When you are using Advanced Connection Mode, you can open Web
Control by specifying the IP address of the projector as follows.
Procedure
A
Start the Web browser on the computer.
B
Enter the IP address of the projector in the address input box
of the Web browser, and press the Enter key on the computer's
keyboard.
Web Control is displayed.
When Web Control Password is set from the Network menu in the
Configuration Menu, a screen for entering the password is displayed.
Enter the characters set for the Web Control Password.
