Operate Error Card
The PCMCIA card is installed or removed while the printer is
on. To correct the error, (1) reset the printer by pressing
ALT
and
Reset
at the same time or (2) turn off the printer; then turn
it back on.
Paper Jam
Paper is jammed in the paper path. Open the printer cover and
clear the jammed paper as described in the PAPER JAM section
in this chapter. After the jam is cleared, the jammed page’s
print data is automatically reprinted.

Warning:
Opening the printer cover exposes the fuser, which is marked
by a CAUTION Hot Surface Avoid Contact label. Be careful
not to touch the fuser.
Paper is jammed in the Duplex unit. Open the Duplex unit
cover and clear the jammed paper; then close the cover. After
jam is cleared, the jammed page’s print data is automatically
reprinted.
