3. Position the module as shown below; then carefully insert its
connector into printer connector CN4. Secure the module
with the two screws that come with it.
4. Perform steps 9 to 10 on page 3-19 to complete this procedure.
You can verify whether the interface is correctly installed by
printing a status sheet.
Installing a Type-B Interface Card
1. Turn off the printer.

Warning:
High voltages are present inside the printer when the power
is on. Do not attempt to install the card unless the printer is
turned off.
2. Unplug the power cable from the electrical outlet.
3. Turn the printer so its back faces you.
