Nozzle Check
You can check the print head nozzles for clogging with this
utility. Check the nozzles when you notice print quality has
declined and also after cleaning to confirm that the print head
nozzles have been cleared. See page 6-25 for more information.
Head Cleaning
You can clean the print head with this utility. You may need to
clean the head when you notice print quality has declined. Use
the Nozzle Check utility first to confirm that the head needs to
be cleaned. See page 6-25.
Print Head Alignment
This utility aligns the print head. Use this utility when you
notice a misalignment of vertical lines. See page 6-28.

Alignment utilities with printers connected to your computer
through a network.

Do not use the Nozzle Check, Head Cleaning, and Print Head
Alignment utilities while printing is in progress; otherwise your
