8.2 GbE Intelligent Blade Panel (IBP) 10/6
The GbE Intelligent Blade Panel (IBP) 10/6 is a LAN connection module in-
between a pass-thru and a switch. It combines the switch advantage of cable
and port consolidation with the pass-thru advantage of working fully (VLAN)
transparent and the lack of any protocol compatibility issues. The IBP 10/6
offers the following connections:
– 10 internal 1Gbit downlink ports to the server blades
– 6 external 1Gbit uplink ports via RJ45 connectors
It provides the same control and connection panel as the Gbit Ethernet LAN
Switch Blade (SB9) 6x1Gbit.
