3 Overflow

requesting the host
to stop data
transmission).
• The printer
ignores the data
(data is lost) and
a question mark
(?) is stored in the
input buffer
when the error is
recovered.
• Check all settings
for the RS-232C
interface.
4 Download
error
The download
buffer overflows.
• The printer
ignores the data
(data is lost).
• Reduce
downloaded data.
• Reduce the print
buffer capacity, i.e.,
increase the
download buffer
capacity.
5 Overrun
error
The printer cannot
accept data at the
rate it is
transmitted. That
is, while the printer
is reading out the
input buffer, the
host transmits the
next data.
• The printer
ignores the data
(data is lost).
