4 Push down, then pull out and up on the two heat sink retention levers (1) and move them
out of the way.
5 Remove the heat sink from the processor. If the heatsink sticks to the processor, rotate
the heatsink slightly to loosen it.
6 Unlock the load lever and lift it up (1), then open the load plate (2) to release the processor.
7 Lift the processor out of the socket (3) and place it in a static-free bag or case for storage.
Caution
The heat sink has Thermal Interface Material (TIM) on the bottom. Be careful
not to damage this material when you remove the heat sink from the processor.
If removing the heat sink also pulls the processor out of the processor socket, the
processor could be damaged.
