Loosen the screw, and slide the USB cable connector up to remove the cable assembly from the
server.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
Power switch cable assembly
1. Power down the server (on page 16).
2. Extend the server from the rack ("Extending the server from the rack" on page 15).
3. Remove the access panel ("Removing the access panel" on page 17).
4. Remove the front bezel ("Removing the front bezel" on page 18).
5. Disconnect all cables from the media board.
6. Remove the media board ("Removing the media board" on page 37).
7. Remove the USB cable assembly.
8. Insert a flat screwdriver into the power switch cable housing next to the middle two LEDs and pry the
housing from the chassis.
