NOTE: If the system has been shut down from a booted program (most commonly,
the operating system) or in some other way halted back to the SRM
console, the system must be reset before running LFU.
See Chapter 3 for more information about LFU.
A.14 Forcing a System Crash Dump
The crash command forces a crash dump at the operating system level.
This command is used when an error has caused the system to hang and
can be halted with the Halt button. This command restarts the operating
system and forces a crash dump to the selected device.
Syntax: crash [device]
where device is the name of the device to which the crash dump is written.
