7.1 Introduction

7. 2 Power Di s tr ib u t io n
Two methods are used for power distribution in these systems. The USDT form factor employs a
separate, external AC “brick” power supply while the SFF, MT, and CMT form factors use a
power supply unit that mounts inside the chassis.
