A11: 1. You probably touch the printing surface before printing.
2. You probably touch the ribbon cartridge before printing.
3. You probably touch the paper roller before printing.
Q12: Why there is vertical or horizontal color lines on the output photo?
A12: 1. The memory of the printer may be damaged.
2. The driver may not be installed properly.
3. Old driver may not be cleared properly.
Q13: What problem is it if the photo outputted by the Hi-Ti Digital Photo
Printer is lighter in color?
A13: You probably put the photo paper up side down. Refer to the “User’s
Guide” for placing paper.
Q14: Why the photo printed with Photoshop, PhotoImpact, or ACDsee is not
the same size as the original picture?
A14: 1. Photoshop, PhotoImpact, or ACDsee does not provide function of
automatically matching the photo size. Therefore you have to
adjust the size before printing manually.
2. The image processing software, PhotoDesiree bundled with the
Hi-Ti Digital Photo Printer provides you the automatic function of
matching the photo size. It is recommended to use this software
for printing.
Q15: Why there is wrinkled colors on the output photo?
A15: 1. The ribbon cartridge in the cartridge may be compressed and
become uneven. Using uneven ribbon may cause such wrinkling
color.
2. Do not use the recycled ribbon cartridge for printing.
Q16: Why there is horizontal dash lines on the output photo?
A16: The input AC voltage may be not stable. Do not use the printer with
other device consuming high electricity.
Q17: Why there is greasy stain on the output photo?
A17: There may be grease adhere to the paper feeding/exit path or roller.
The grease was cleaned up by the paper during printing, and such
problem will be solved by itself.
