Installing a Keyboard and Keyboard Cover
This section describes how to install a keyboard and a keyboard cover in the chassis.
Be sure to observe the precautions in "Before You Begin" on page 35.
Installing a Keyboard
The keyboard cable (Figure 22, A) is located on the bottom of the keyboard. To install
a keyboard and connect it to the Mobile Board, see Figure 22 and follow these steps:
1. Locate the
keyboard connector (Figure 22, B) on the Mobile Board and unlock the
connector l
ocking mechanism (Figure 22, C) by rotati
ng it upward.
2. Insert the keyboard cable into the connector and rotate the connector locking
mechanism downward as shown in the figure to lock the cable in place.
3. Install the keyboard by inserting the edge tabs (Figure 22, D) into the matching
sl
ots in the C-tray and slide the keyboard into place.
