4. Loosen the retaining screws on the front and rear of the riser card assembly. Then, remove the riser
card assembly from the server.
Note: If the riser card is secured in place by a retaining latch 1 , press the retaining latch to release
the riser card from the latch. Then, carefully pull the riser card assembly out of the slot. If necessary,
alternate moving each side of the riser card a small and equal amount until it is completely removed
from the slot.
