Lexmark 2I1 Printer User Manual

Configuration Parameter Values
Parameter values are settings that the printer recognizes to do the
following:
Format the printed page
Set printing and performance options
Set character sets for different languages
Modify the alarm volume or disable the alarm.
The printer can use the parameter values set by the factory, or you
can change them. The new values you set from the operator panel
become the new parameter values.
Important
Changes to these values will not be saved when you turn the
printer Off (O) unless you choose to save them in a Custom
Default Set. In other words, all configuration changes are
onlineonly changes until they are saved using the Save Current
Values parameter in the Configuration Menu under Configuration
Storage. For detailed information on saving configuration
changes, see Storing Configuration Parameters in IBM 4230
Printer Models 102, 1I1, 202, 2I1, 4I3, and 5I3 Operator Panel
