Using the Unit with
Windows
Ink Jet Transparency: Used for transparency film (such as that used in overhead projectors).
Paper selection lever: Set to the back position.
Paper thickness lever: Set to the center position.
Ink Jet Glossy Paper: Paper selection lever: Set to the front position.
Paper thickness lever: Set to the center position.
Resume Paper: Paper Source setting: Set to Manual Feed.
Paper selection lever: Set to the front position.
Paper thickness lever: Set to the right position.
Ink Jet Back Print Film: Used for media on which the output is printed on the back side of the
paper. The printout will be mirrored by the driver.
Paper selection lever: Set to the back position.
Paper thickness lever: Set to the center position.
Envelope: Paper selection lever: Set to the front position.
Paper thickness lever: Set to the right position.
Other Paper: Used for media other than those mentioned above.
Paper selection lever: Set to the front position.
Paper thickness lever: Set to the right position.
E Copies option
Enter the number of copies (up to 99) to be printed.
Important:
¡In general, setting the number of copies in the printer setup dialog box will produce faster uncollated
copies. Setting the number of copies in your application will slow down printing, but the copies will be
collated.
F Orientation option
Click the Select button to select the print orientation:
Portrait: Text is printed across the shorter dimension of the paper.
Landscape: Text is printed lengthwise across the longer dimension of the paper.
G Help button
Press this button to obtain Windows Help on how to use the printer driver.
H Cancel button
When you press this button, you will close the current windows. Any changes you have made will be lost.
I OK button
Press this button to close the current windows. All your changes will be saved.
