Configuration Summary Screen
CONFIGURATION SUMMARY
This screen displays a summary of the configuration on the top line. The lower line provides carrier unit
and traffic messages such as "Carr:On", "Unit Fault" or "Traffic Warn", and the operator has to press the
Down key to display the Tx & Rx Traffic Summary screen in order to determine what the fault is. The fields
can take the following values:
Carrier Status: CARR: Normal Normal Tx status
CARR: DISABLED Carrier state set to `Off` (formerly CARR:Mute-Off)
CARR: Mute-Brk Carrier set to `Power Break Mute`, requires
operator to confirm if carrier can be
retransmitted as power outage has occurred.
CARR: Mute-1:1 Muted by 1 for 1 logic
CARR: Mute-Ext Muted by external signal on alarms connector
CARR: Mute-RTS Carrier set to RTS controlled, and interface RTS
line is off
CARR: Mute-Flt Muted, due to an internal fault (eg synthesiser lock)
CARR: FAULT !! There is a fault in the carrier on/off logic,
disconnect the carrier from the satellite.
Demod status: Not Locked If the demodulator is unlocked
Eb/No=xx.xdB
When the demodulator is locked a valid Eb/No is
displayed
Pressing the down arrow leads to further information
Unit Status (in order of priority):
Unit Fault There is a Unit Fault
Cfg-Error The Unit cannot perform as requested
Unit-Warn There is a Unit Warning
Cfg-Warn There is a configuration warning (from Setup,
Check)
Cfg-Info There is a Config Info message (from Setup,
Check)
Traf-Fault A Traffic Fault exists
Traf-Warn A Traffic Warning exists
Remote Remote M&C mode, no warnings or test modes
active.
Local Local mode, no warnings or test modes active.
