Loading Paper into the Optional Paper
Tray Unit
The following procedure describes
how to load paper in the optional Pa-
per Tray Unit.

Pull out the optional Paper Tray
Unit.

Adjust the size mark to the size of
the paper that you are loading.
Turn the dial to adjust it, so that
the desired paper size appears.
Important
❒ Make sure that the size of paper
loaded in the unit matches the
size indicated by the size mark.
If not, the size of the loaded pa-
per is not recognized correctly
and the printed images may be
incomplete or paper jams may
occur.

Fan a stack of paper and even the
edges, then load it in the Paper
Tray Unit with the printable sur-
face facing down. Make sure that
the top of the paper is under the
notches in the corner of the unit.
Important
❒ Make sure not to load paper
over the limit mark.
Note
❒ You can load up to 500 sheets of
copy paper.
