serves as the public IP address for your entire LAN and is
usually assigned by your ISP.

If your ISP will assign the IP address from their DHCP
server,
click the [Enable] radio button in the [Use Dhcp]
field.
When DHCP is set to [Enable], the address you entered
in the [Conf.
IP Address:] field will be requested from the
DHCP server; the server may assign a different address
if necessary.
8. If you want the EOA interface to serve as the default route
for
Internet access for your LAN, click the [Enable] radio button
in
the [Default Route:] field.
9. In the [Gateway IP Address:] field, enter the address of the
Internet computer to contact in order to gain initial access
to the Internet.
10. Click [Submit]. A [Confirmation] page appears to confirm
your changes.
11. Click [Close] to return to the [RFC1483/Ethernet over ATM
(EOA) Config] page and view the new interface in the table.
12.
Click the [Admin] tab, and then click [Commit & Reboot]
in the
task bar.
13. Click [Commit] to save your changes to the permanent
memory.
