Validate MSH An indicator of whether to validatethe MSH segment of the datamessage (for
inbound) and theMSH segment of the ACK (foroutbound). Select true if you
want the Collaboration to validatethe MSH segment; otherwise select false.
This parameter isused in Collaboration code.
Note – Thisproperty does notaect structural validationof the entireHL7
message itself. Structuralvalidation is always performed.
HL7 SFT Segment — TCP/IP HL7V2 Inbound Adapter
The following table lists and describes the properties that appear on the HL7 SFT Segment page
of the Properties Editor accessed from the Connectivity Map. These properties dene the
conguration of the SFT segment of the HL7 message, which provides additional information
about one or more software products used as sending applications. The primary purpose of this
segment is for diagnostic use. There may be additional uses per site-specic agreements. For
more information about this segment, refer to the HL7 specication (
http://www.hl7.org).
Note – The SFT segment is available starting with HL7 version 2.5.
