Configuration Card
The printer has a configuration card that stores network parameters and configuration data. The
configuration card is hot swappable, enabling you to share or replace it, providing an alternative to
onsite service.
Network settings are saved on the configuration card. If the configuration card is removed from an old
printer and inserted into a new printer, the saved settings on the configuration card are copied to the
new printer when it is powered on. The new printer assumes the identity of the old printer, eliminating
the need to reconfigure network settings.
