MODE Key Self Test
This self test places the printer in a communications diagnostics mode. In
this mode, the printer prints the ASCII characters and their corresponding
hexadecimal values for any data received from the host computer. See
Figure 30.
To perform the MODE key self test:
1. Press the MODE button while turning on the printer.
2. Release the button when the front panel LEDs turn on.
3. To return to printing mode, turn off and then turn on the printer.
NOTE: Turn off the power to exit this self test.
