To add the barcode to the text:

Euro conversion function

With the easy-to-use Euro conversion function,
euros are automatically converted to or from
any currency that you select, and the two prices
are added to your text. Simply set up the func-
tion by selecting which currency you wish to
convert and how you want the prices to
appears, and then you can quickly create labels
containing prices in both euros and one other
currency.
To set up the Euro conversion function:
1 Rotate r until
CONVERSION SETUP is
displayed, and then press r (OR hold
down d and press h once). The
CURRENCY screen appears with the cur-
rently selected setting.
2 Rotate r (OR press m or g) until the set-
ting for the desired currency is displayed.
3 Press r (OR press n). The RATE screen
appears.
4 Type in the exchange rate for converting a
euro into the desired currency.
5 Press r (OR press n). The SEPARATOR
screen appears with the currently selected
setting.
NOTE
To quit the Barcode function without adding a
barcode, press e at any time (OR hold
down d and press i ).
NOTE
To delete a barcode, move the cursor either imme-
diately after the barcode mark ( ) or below the
right half of the mark and press b (OR move the
cursor below either half of the barcode mark ( )
and press q). When the message “OK TO CLEAR?
” appears, press n. To return to the text with-
out deleting the barcode, press
e
.
NOTE
To return to the text without changing any settings
for the Euro conversion function, press e (OR
hold down d and press h.
NOTE
The following currency settings are available:
CHF (Swiss franc), DKK (Danish krone), GBP (Brit-
ish pound), NOK (Norwegian krone), SEK (Swedish
krona), AUD (Australian dollar), CAD (Canadian
dollar), HKD (Hong Kong dollar), USD (US dollar),
JPY (Japanese yen), ANY1 (in the format X.XXX,XX),
ANY2 (in the format X,XXX.XX)
NOTE
☞
A number with a maximum of 9 digits (exclud-
ing the decimal point) can be entered.
☞
Pressing either , or : inserts the decimal
point into the number.
☞
If you make a mistake while typing in the
exchange rate, press b (OR press q).
