ERROR MESSAGE LIST
LINE LIMIT!
XX LINES MAXIMUM
This message appears if you try
to print or use the Layout pre-
view function when the number
of lines in the text is greater
than the maximum possible for
the installed tape. (Since the
number of lines possible
depends on the width of the
tape, the message that appears
depends on the tape width.)
Reduce the number of
lines or install a wider
tape.
MEMORY FULL!
This message appears if you try
to store a text file after the maxi-
mum number of characters has
already been stored in the
memory.
Delete an unwanted file to
make space for the new
one.
NO FILES!
This message appears if no files
are stored in the memory when
you try to recall, delete or print
one.
Store a text file before try-
ing to recall, delete or
print one.
OVERFLOW!
This message appears if the
result of the conversion with the
Euro conversion function
exceeds 10 digits.
Change the euro conver-
sion setup so that the
result will not exceed 10
digits.
REPLACE BATTERIES!
(PT-9600 only)
This message appears when the
installed Ni-MH battery is about
to run out, or when the battery
has reached a high voltage.
Replace the battery or use
the AC adapter.
SET 6mm!
This message appears if a 6-
mm-wide tape cassette is not
installed when printing an Auto
format template created for 6-
mm-wide tape.
Install a 6-mm-wide tape
cassette.
