Melody Settings (FAX-837MC only)
Setting the Ring Pattern
You can select a ring pattern from signal (regular ring pattern) or 4
types of melody.
The default setting is SIGNAL.

Press Menu/Set, 9, 1.

Press ▲ or ▼ to select
SIGNAL, MELODY1, MELODY2, MELODY3 or MELODY4 and
press Menu/Set.

Press Stop/Exit.
Setting the Music on Hold
You can select the music on hold. You can also set the music to
OFF.

Press Menu/Set, 9, 2.

Press ▲ or ▼ to select MELODY1, MELODY2, MELODY3 or
MELODY4 or OFF.

Press Menu/Set.

Press Stop/Exit.
Setting the Melody Alarm
You can ring the melody at the setting time.
Also, you can select the alarm sound from a signal or 4 types of
melody.

Press Menu/Set, 9, 3.

Press ▲ or ▼ to select ON (or
OFF) and press Menu/Set.
If you select OFF, go to Step 5.

Enter the time in 24-hour
format you want to set the
alarm and press Menu/Set.

Press ▲ or ▼ to select
SIGNAL, MELODY1, MELODY2,
MELODY3 or MELODY4 and
press Menu/Set.

Press Stop/Exit.
■ During the Melody Alarm waiting, the screen displays
ALARM WAITING.
■ Once the melody rings on the time you set, the Melody Alarm
setting returns to OFF.
■ If the time you set comes during the another operation, the
Melody Alarm rings after they are finished.
You can select a melody for the initial ring only. The F/T
pseudo-ring will stay the same.
