Press Menu/Set, 8, 1.
The screen prompts you to choose a voice store setting.

Press or to select VOICE:ON, (or EXT or OFF). If you
want to store voice messages in the external answering
machine, select EXT.
Press Menu/Set.

Press Stop/Exit.
Setting Fax Forward/Fax Storage
You can use either Fax Forward or Fax Storage
Setting up Fax Forwarding

Press Menu/Set, 8, 2.

Press or to select
FAX FORWARD.
Press Menu/Set.
The LCD will ask you to enter the fax number to which faxes
will be forwarded.

Enter the forwarding number (up to 20 digits).
Press Menu/Set.

Press Stop/Exit.
You can change a Fax Forwarding number remotely. (See Remote
Retrieval on page 9-8.)
Setting up Fax Storage

Press Menu/Set, 8, 2.

Press or to select
FAX STORAGE.
Press Menu/Set.

Press Stop/Exit.
FAX FORWARD When you select FAX FORWARD, your fax machine stores
the received fax in the Message Centre memory. The fax
machine will then dial the fax number you’ve
programmed and forwards the fax message.
FAX STORAGE If you select FAX STORAGE, your fax machine stores the
received fax in the memory. You will be able to retrieve
fax messages from another location using the Remote
Retrieval commands. (See Remote Retrieval on page
9-8.)
OFF Incoming faxes are not stored in memory, but will be
printed on paper.
