Message Centre
Recording the Message Centre’s Outgoing Message
(TAD MESSAGE)
Recording the Message Centre’s Outgoing Message (TAD
MESSAGE) is the second step you need to follow before you can
turn on the Message Centre. Make sure your OGM (Outgoing
Message) is less than 20 seconds long.

Press Menu/Set, 8, 4.
The LCD prompts you to choose an OGM.

Press or to select MSG CTR OGM (not FAX/TEL OGM).
Press Menu/Set.

Press or to select RECORD MSG.
Press Menu/Set.

Pick up the handset to record a message.
For example: Hello. We are unable to take your call at this
time. Please leave a message after the signal. If you wish to
send a fax, please press 5 1, wait for fax tones, then press
the start button.

Press Stop/Exit and replace the handset. The Message
Centre plays your OGM.

Press Stop/Exit.
Listening to the Outgoing Message (OGM)

Press Menu/Set, 8, 4.

Press or to select MSG CTR OGM (or FAX/TEL OGM).
Press Menu/Set.

Press or to select PLAY MSG and press Menu/Set.
Adjust volume by pressing or .

Press Stop/Exit.
Erasing the Outgoing Message (OGM)

Press Menu/Set, 8, 4.

Press or to select MSG CTR OGM (or FAX/TEL OGM).
Press Menu/Set.

Press or to select ERASE MSG.
Press Menu/Set.

Press 1 to erase the OGM.
OR
Press 2 to exit without erasing.

Press Stop/Exit.
This is the only setting you can select if you want to turn the
Message Centre on.
The fax machine records 5 seconds of silence at the
beginning of your OGM. (This allows the fax machine to listen
and detect any incoming faxes.)
