Aligning the Print Head
When you replace an old BJ cartridge for a new one, you need to align the print head
position of the BJ cartridge before printing.
Follow this procedure to align the print head:
1 Press Function.
2 Press Cleaning.
3 Use d or u to select ALIGN PRINT HEAD.
4 Press Set twice.
• The MultiPASS prints the HS pattern.
(1 sample below)
5 Press Set again.
6 For the printed B1 pattern, use d or u
Ex:
to enter the value above the perfectly
aligned lines.
7 Press Set.
8 For the printed B2 pattern, use d or u
Ex:
to enter the value above the perfectly
aligned lines.
HS B2: +4
HS B2: 0
DATA ENTRY OK
HS B1: +4
HS B1: 0
HS CHANGE VALUE
