• If the projector is not properly shut down, to protect the lamp, when you attempt to re-start the
projector, the fans will run for a few minutes to cool down. Press POWER again to start the
projector after the fans stop and the POWER indicator light turns orange.
Direct power off
1. The AC power cord can be pulled out during the projector is on. To protect the lamp, wait about 10
minutes before re-starting the projector. When you attempt to re-start the projector, the fans may run
for a few minutes to cool down. In such cases, press POWER again to start the projector after the
fans stop and the POWER indicator light turns orange.
2. To protect the lamp, do not shut down the projector while the POWER indicator light is blinking
green after the lamp lights up.
3. Before shutting down the projector, be sure to close the menu screen. If you shut down the projector
without closing the menu, the setting data of the menu may not be saved.
4. If you shut down the projector while controlling the projector using the network function, the
application software such as e-Control™ may fail. In this case, close the application software first.
After the connection between the projector and the computer re-establishes, initialize the software
again.
