Instructions for Recovering
IP/TV Servers
This appendix contains the procedure for restoring the IP/TV Servers to the
shipping configuration.
Recovering Cisco IP/TV 3425 and 3425A Servers
Cisco provides a disaster recovery image on a separate partition on Cisco IP/TV
3425 and 3425A Servers.
Caution All data on the boot partition of IP/TV Server is lost when you follow this
procedure.
To restore IP/TV Server to the shipping configuration, follow these steps:
Step 1 Reboot IP/TV Server.
Step 2 When you see the following message, press the F key:
System Now Booting…
The following warning message appears:
This process recovers system partition, might potentially destroy all
the data on your system.
It is recommended to take backup of your data before proceeding.
