Chapter 1 Introducing IP/TV Servers

Cisco IP/TV 3427-C2
Broadcast Server
Provides live encoding and serving, as well as
serving a limited number of prerecorded programs
defined in IP/TV Program Manager.
Configured with the following video capture cards:
2 Winnov Videum 1010 Plus 1-port capture
cards that support medium- and low-quality
H.261 and MPEG-4 formats
1 Winnov Videum 4400 AV 4-port capture card
that supports medium- and low-quality H.261
and MPEG-4 formats
2 Optibase MovieMaker 200S Networker
capture cards that support MPEG-1 and
MPEG-2 formats
Delivers 8 streams: 6 MPEG-4 streams (4 CIF and 2
QCIF) and 2 MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 streams.
