Recovering Cisco IP/TV 3426 and 3427 Servers
This section discusses how to recover a corrupted system image, how to recover
from missing disk-based software, and how to recover from catastrophic failure
on Cisco IP/TV 3426 and 3427 Servers.
Cisco provides disaster recovery CDs with Cisco IP/TV 3426 and 3427 Broadcast
Servers. These are DOS-bootable CDs that you can use to restore Cisco IP/TV
3426 and 3427 Servers to the shipping configuration and install the Windows
2000 operating system and Cisco IP/TV software. Use the disaster recovery CD
only to solve catastrophic software failures, and not to troubleshoot any problems
caused by user-specific configurations.
