More than one hub is in use,
or the cable is unsuitable.
Try connecting the scanner directly
to the computer’s USB port, or
use an
EPSON USB cable .
Try connecting your scanner to a
different port on your hub, or a
different hub, if one is available.
For Macintosh and IEEE
1394 interface users:
The necessary Extentions are
disabled.
Make sure that the following
Extensions are selected in the
Extensions Manager.
