Removing the roll paper from
the spindle

Turn on the printer by pressing the
button.

Open the roll paper cover. Make sure that
the Pause light is not flashing, and then set
the paper lever to the released position.
LEVER RELEASED. LOAD PAPER appears on
the LCD panel.

Rewind the roll paper, and roll it on rails to
place it in the paper roll holder. Then place
it down on a flat surface with two people.
Note:
❏ When REMAINING PPR SETUP is set to ON:AT
ROLL EXCHANGE, the paper lever is locked. Press
and hold the button for 3 seconds so the
barcode is printed on the edge of the roll paper
and the paper lever is released.
❏ We recommend that you remove the roll paper
from the printer after printing. If the paper roll is
left in the printer, the roller for securing the paper
may leave a mark on the surface of the paper.

Warning:
Have two people lift the roll paper.
Note:
When you are not using roll paper, wrap the
roll paper using the optional roll paper belt.
