Configure an IP interface for OSPF
Using this portion of the window, you can:
• Review the existing OSPF IP interface configuration
• Associate a VLAN with an area ID
• Configure OSPF for each VLAN area
• Configure a route filter for non-OSPF routes exported into OSPF
• Configure the timers for one interface in the same OSPF area
• Configure miscellaneous OSPF parameters, such as cost
• Configure virtual links
As shown in Figure 50, the top table lists the existing OSPF IP interface configuration. The table consists
of the following fields:
VLAN name
Area ID
OSPF—Either enabled or disabled
Priority—Always set to zero for Summit 200
Interface—Either passive or non-passive
