Status indicators
Status indicators inform you when a drive is being used or when a button
has been pressed that affects how the keyboard is used.
Indicator Icon Description
Caps Lock Caps Lock is turned on.
Pad Lock The embedded numeric keypad is turned on.
Scroll Lock Scroll Lock is turned on.
Diskette drive The standard 1.44 MB diskette drive is in use.
Hard drive The hard drive is in use.
Disc drive The CD, DVD, or recordable drive is in use.
