CMOS Checksum Error
If the CMOS battery has failed, the following error messages will be displayed on the
screen:
CMOS checksum error - Defaults loaded
CMOS battery failed
To replace the battery:
The Panel C uses a Panasonic 3V battery, part number BR2032 or Duracell part no 2032.
Only replace the battery with this type or equivalent.
Warning
Battery may explode if mistreated. Do not recharge, disassemble, or
dispose of in fire
1. To remove the battery, press down on the removal tab (shown in one of the socket
pictures). The side of the battery opposite the removal tab will eject from the retainer
clip, allowing the battery to be removed from the socket.

2. To install the replacement battery, position the battery with its '+' side on top and slide
the battery into the socket at a slight angle under the removal tab. Press the battery
down to snap it in place.
Note: The socket will not allow the battery to be inserted incorrectly ('+' side down).
