Port:
Displays the port number in the hub where the wrong polarity
device was found.
Last MAC addr:
Displays the hardware address of the most recent
device that sent data on that port.
Problem:
Displays what the problem is. In this screen, wrong
polarity cabling between the device and the hub. Wrong polarity
cabling is when the TX+ and TX- pairs or RX+ and RX- of a UTP
cable are reversed. This is usually caused by making your own
cables. If a wrong polarity cable is detected, try using a different
cable.
NOTE
All zeros are displayed in the
Last MAC addr field if the
Management Module never
recognized the device on the
port.
For example, the device
plugged into the port always
had wrong polarity cabling
between it and the hub.
