Formatting a Floppy Disk

NOTE: Formatting a floppy destroys all current data on the disk
1. Check to make sure the floppy is not write-protected.
2. Double-tap on My Computer on the Windows desktop.
3. From the capacity drop-down list, select 1.44MB or
720KB.
4. Tap Start to start formatting.

NOTE: Intermec Technologies recommends that you regularly back up the
data on your hard disk drive. Windows operating system has a back-
up function you can use to back up your data. See the online Help
for details.
