The Autocheck button changes the brightness of the backlight
when AC power is connected. If this box is checked, the backĆ
light brightness cannot be adjusted.
"
NOTE: The backlight brightness can be adjusted temporarily by sliding the
arrow to maximum, but with the “Auto” box checked, the brightness is
set according to remaining battery power.
