Attaching the Expansion Battery
Pack
Attach or replace expansion battery pack described in the
procedure below. See figure 4-2.
1. Turn off the pen computer and disconnect the AC
adapter.
2. Place the pen computer face down on a flat surface.
3. Slide the battery pack connector cover door open to the
right (Figure 4-2, step 1).
4. Attach the expansion battery pack to the pen computer
by sliding it to the right.
5. Set battery locks (Figure 4-2 step 2).
6. Drop the battery pack straight into the tabs (Figure
4-3 step 3).
7. Lock the battery in place by sliding the battery pack
latches to the right and down (Figure 4-3 step 4).

NOTE: To remove the expansion battery pack, simply reverse the installation
procedure.
