3 Align the printer with the tray, and then lower the printer into place.
4 Label the trays and drawers with the supplied number labels from the top down.
Note: The standard 550-sheet tray (Tray 1) must be labeled as the first tray.
Attaching cables

or make any electrical or cabling connections, such as the fax feature, power cord, or telephone, during a

Connect the printer to the computer using a USB cable or Ethernet cable.
Be sure to match the following:
• The USB symbol on the cable with the USB symbol on the printer
• The appropriate Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port
