The telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991 makes it unlawful for any person to use a computer or other
electronic device to send any message via telephone facsimile machine unless such message clearly contains in
a margin at the top or bottom of each transmitted page or on the first page of transmission the following
information:
1) Date and Time of transmission; and,
2) Identification of either business, business entity or individual sending the message: and,
3) Telephone number of either the sending machine, business, business entity or individual.
In order to program this information into your facsimile machine, you should refer to pages 17 to 24 in this
Operating Instructions to complete the steps.

The DP-2500/3000 copier complies with Tier 2 of the Environmental Protection Agency's Energy
Star Program. This voluntary program specifies specific energy consumption and usage
standards for copiers. These copiers will automatically power down after a specified period of
non-use.
The use of these Energy Star compliant copiers will reduce energy consumption and ultimately
benefit the environment.
The default functions can be adjusted depending on your office requirements. Please see your
