When Nozzle Clogging Cannot Be Solved

Routine Maintenance

Open the left maintenance cover.
(1) Turn four screws that fix the maintenance cover to
the left, and remove them.
(2) Remove the maintenance cover.
If the maintenance cover is hard to remove, use the
supplied screwdriver.

Immerse Wiper for CR in Maintenance kit.

Wipe the nozzle surface from the rear of the main
body to the front twice or three times with Wiper
for CR immersed in Maintenance kit.
Do not rub too strong.

Press the key after the cleaning.

Close the left maintenance cover then press the
key.
After its initial operation, the machine returns to step1.

Perform head cleaning. ( P.2-22)

Perform test printing. ( P.2-20)
Immerse much enough so that washing
liquid may drip from it.
Do not wipe the nozzle surface with dry
Wiper for CR.
If Wiper for CR has fluffed, replace it.
If ink solid adheres to Wiper for CR,
change the surface to use for cleaning or
replace it.
