Preparing for the Heaters
Changing the Temperature Settings for the Heaters
Set the heater temperature.
Depending on the media and the profile to use, set the heater temperature.
It may take several minutes to tens of minutes for the set temperature to be reached, depending on the ambient
temperature.

The heater starts to get hot.(The [HEAT] lamp lights in orange.)
When the heater temperature reaches the set temperature, the [HEAT] lamp goes off and the
[CONSTANT] lamp lights in green.

Press the key to end the setting.
The screen moves to the temperature setting of FAN HEATER.
You can change the temperature set here also in [HEATER] of the [SETUP] menu. ( P.3-2)
The Heater temperature is controllable at the RIP side if the RIP in use has a function controllable.
(For the setting procedures, refer to the instruction manual of the RIP in use.)
Depending on the power supply voltage, amount of heat generation differs. For the power supply
voltage of 100V to 120V, it may not reach 70 °C.
If you set [VACUUM] of the [SETUP] menu more than needs, it may cause temperature decrease of
the print heater.
Use this machine under 20 to 30°C. The temperature may not reach the set value due to the
environmental temperature condition.
When you lower the heater temperature, ensure drying time with the procedures below:
Set [SET UP] – [DRYING TIME].
Increase the number of printing passes.
Print unidirectionally.
