Basic Copying Procedure
CAUTION
If your document gets stuck while it is being processed, press
the Stop key, and turn to page 102 for instructions on how to
safely remove the original. If you make a mistake and want to
start over, press the Clear Modes key.
Make sure your machine is set to
copy. If it isn’t press the
Fax/Copy key. The Copy light will
be lit.
Lift up the top cover (make sure
you raise it by at least 35”, or half
way) and place the first page of
your document face down on the
exposure glass. Then lower the
top cover.
The display will change as shown.
Or
Insert the document face up in
the feeder and adjust the guides
to fit the width of the document.
There should be no more than 30
pages in your document.
Note: Do not stack documents in
the feeder so that they exceed
the load limit marker.
When you set the document in
the feeder, the display will
change as shown.
