FLAG OPTIONS
A total of 90 system programming options (known as FLAGS) are offered on this cash register. They are preset at
the factory to accommodate the most commonly used selections. Each flag option can be changed or updated at
any time as needed.
NOTE: Most flags have been factory preset at "0". They only need to be programmed if you wish to change any
option from “0” to “1”.
“PRG” + (FLAG #) + (Selected option #) + [VOID]
The options are as follows: “0” = Represents the option present by the factory.
“1” = Represents an alternative option.

1 0 = Year, month, date, in that order.

0 = Display and print the time in 12 hour (AM/PM) format.
1 = Display and print the time in 24 hour format.
3 0 = 0 Decimal position for monetary system.
1 = 0.0 Decimal position for monetary system.
2 = 0.00 Decimal position for monetary system.
3 = 0.000 Decimal position for monetary system.

METHOD FOR MULTIPLICATION & % CALCULATIONS
0 = Rounding down (0.1 to 0.9 becomes 0.0)
5 = Rounding (0.1 to 0.4 becomes 0.0, 0.5 to 0.9 becomes 1.0)
9 = Rounding up (0.1 to 0.9 becomes 1.0)

ROUNDING METHOD FOR TAX CALCULATIONS
0 = Rounding down (0.1 to 0.9 becomes 0.0)
5 = Rounding (0.1 to 0.4 becomes 0.0 and 0.5 to 0.9 becomes 1.0)
9 = Rounding up (0.1 to 0.9 becomes 1.0)

0 = Select the first digit in the decimal to be rounded in percentage and
multiplication calculations.
1 = Select the last digit to be rounded in percentage multiplication calculations.

0 = Select the first digit in the decimal to be rounded in tax calculations.
1 = Select the last digit in the decimal to be rounded in tax calculations.

0 = First enter the quantity, then enter the price.

0 = Do not automatically add the preset percentage for the [+ %] key to the sales
amount.
